KCHD RECEIVED A COMPLAINT ABOUT RODENT AND INSECT ACTIVITY. DID NOT OBSERVE PEST ACTIVITY NEAR FRONT OR BACK EXIT, FOOD AISLES, FRESH PRODUCE, DAMAGED GOODS AND RETURN AREA, OR IN THE EMPLOYEE BREAK ROOM. OBSERVED RODENT DROPPINGS ON A SHELF IN THE BACK ROOM THAT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED SINCE MY VISIT IN NOVEMBER 2022. THE STRUCTURAL ISSUES THAT LED TO THE INITIAL RODENT ISSUE IN 2022 HAVE BEEN CORRECTED AND PESTS ARE NOT ALLOWED FREE ACCESS TO THE BUILDING. PEST CONTROL PROVIDER LOGS WERE REVIEWED. PEST PROVIDER DID NOT OBSERVE ANY ACTIVITY ON MONTHLY VISITS GOING BACK TO THE PREVIOUS NOVEMBER.
NO NEW PEST ACTIVITY WAS NOTED AT THIS VISIT. HOWEVER, THE BACK ROOM IS STILL EXTREMELY FULL OF FOOD AND NON-FOOD PRODUCTS, POTENTIALLY PROVIDING HARBORAGE AND FOOD FOR PESTS. CONTINUE TO WORK WITH YOUR PEST CONTROL PROVIDER AND CLEAN AND ORGANIZE THE FACILITY. NO ADDITIONAL FOLLOW UP IS REQUIRED. |
